In order to improve the management and increase the efficiency of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ, on September 30, 2016, the Scientific Council decided to establish a Secretariat.
When establishing the Secretariat at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ, as in international practice, the Secretariat is  established as follows.
The Secretariat of the faculty (school, center) provides guidance and coordination over the current and administrative activities of the faculty.
The Secretariat of the department manages and coordinates the current and administrative activities of the department.
The main activities of the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Secretariat are as follows:
To ensure effective, high-quality and efficient implementation of current and administrative management in ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ;
To take continuous measures to improve the quality of current and administrative management at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ;
Assess the risks associated with current and administrative management at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ and make periodic offers to the rector of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ on their management.
In accordance with the areas of activity, the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Secretariat performs 3 main functions:
 ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Secretariat is directly subordinate to and accountable to the ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Rector in the performance of its duties and in the exercise of its rights.
Currently, the Secretariat operates in 12 faculties of ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ (school, center) and Zaqatala School of Economics.
The ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ Secretariat faces important tasks in accordance with  ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ 100 strategy. Our goal is to have a more flexible and highly efficient university management system. For this, ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ envisages continuous improvement of efficiency in human resource and information resource management by 2030, as well as optimization of the management structure. Additionally, completion of the process of forming administrative management structures on the basis of functionality, establishment of the Management Information System at ²ÝÝ®ÊÓÆµ, improving the security and quality of e-services, supporting mobile applications, increasing online services, increasing efficiency in information resource management have been determined as the directions of strategic activity.
