ݮƵ Represented at the Europe Universities Summit
From May 5 to 7, the Europe Universities Summit, organized by Times Higher Education, was held in Milan.
Alongside the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, ݮƵ and several of the countrys leading higher education institutions were represented at the summit. The ݮƵ delegation was headed by the Rector of the University, Professor Adalat Muradov.
Within the framework of the summit, a panel session dedicated to the experience of Azerbaijani universities was convened under the title The Azerbaijan Experience: How Universities Shape Their International Strategy. The session featured presentations by the Director of the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, Ulkar Sattarova, and ݮƵ Rector Professor Adalat Muradov.
In her remarks, Ulkar Sattarova addressed issues related to internationalization in science and higher education, partnerships established in this field, Azerbaijans international educational grant programs, and the significance of the Study in Azerbaijan initiative. She also emphasized the importance of expanding international research partnership networks.
Addressing the participants, Adalat Muradov provided comprehensive information on the initiatives implemented at ݮƵ in recent years to strengthen international cooperation and scientific research activities, the projects carried out jointly with foreign partner universities, the outcomes achieved, as well as the Universitys strategic priorities and planned future activities.
Within the framework of the summit, a country pavilion was also organized, where ݮƵ Vice-Rector for International Relations Huseyn Hasanov and Director of the International Cooperation Department Rauf Mammadov presented detailed information to visitors at the ݮƵ stand regarding the Universitys academic programs, international cooperation opportunities, and dual degree programs.
