A meeting with the alumni of the exchange programs financed by the US State Department was held in the residence of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the US to Azerbaijan Robert Secuta.
An Associated Professor of the Department of International Economics, Dr of Economy Muslim Ibrahimov was awarded a Certificate for successful completion of the Scholarship Program Fulbright Visiting Scholar by the Ambassador R.Secuta within the event. R.Secuta said that M.Ibrahimovs performance within the program was highly appreciated by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the United States Department of State.
Note that, Muslim Ibrahimov conducted classes on Agrarian Economy, International Trade and Management of Agro business Companies for undergraduate and graduate students of West Texas A&M University of the US within a term as a Visiting Professor. In addition, he participated in joint scientific researches with his American colleagues. M.Ibrahimovs joint article on Agriculture and the State of Food Insecurity of Western Africa was published on the Journal of Agricultural and Applied Economics.
Within the Program M.Ibrahimov attended the Forum Trans-Caspian East-West Trade & Transit Corridor organized by the Embassy of Azerbaijan to the US held in Washington. At the same time, he lectured to the academic and student staffs of WTAMU on Social and Economic Development Trends Influencing Azerbaijans Transformation to a Politically and Economically Stable Country, Geo- economy of Southern Caucasus, Azerbaijans History, Culture and Internal and Foreign Policy and other directions.
