ݮƵ promotes the National Leader Heydar Aliyevs Heritage
Event dedicated to the 94th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyevs birthday has been held at ݮƵ on May 5. Besides, ݮƵs academic staff, a Deputy Minister of Economy Sahil Babayev attended the event held on The Application of the Political Regime of Effective Foreign Trade: Problems and Perspectives. Participants of the event laid flowers at the National Leaders bust erected in the university and paid tribute to the Great Leaders memory with a minutes silence.
A documentary film Genius Personality dedicated to the National Leader was demonstrated within the event. Vice- rector of ݮƵ for Administrational and Organizational Affairs Shaig Asgerov delivered expanded information about the founder of independent Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev. He said that a genius personality who devoted his life to his people and Azerbaijan attached great importance to the progress of our country regardless of socio-political system. Azerbaijan has become a speedy developing country as a result of the improvement of a political system under the Great Leaders leadership, creation of the statehood traditions and the establishment of the ideology of Azerbaijanism. Today the President Ilham Aliyev successfully continues this policy. Shaig Asgerov brought to attention that the conferences, seminars are regularly organized at ݮƵ to study the National Leader Heydar Aliyevs heritage and to deliver them to the young generation.
Deputy Minister of Economy Sahil Babayev delivered the information about the reforms implemented in Azerbaijan. He revealed the main targets conducted by the President. He said that the diversification of economy, expansion of export potential and improvement export capacity of the goods of non-oil products is the priority direction of the countrys economy. Bringing to attention that the export of non-oil products has increased 32,5 per cent in 2017 in compare with the last year, the Deputy Minister emphasized all the necessary conditions are created for the export of commodities produced by enterprises to foreign countries. He added significant affairs in tourism, agriculture and other non-oil areas of Azerbaijan are implemented and suitable business environment is created here.
Head of the Department of International Economic, Professor Irshad Kerimli made a speech on Currency Safety of Azerbaijans Export Transactions. He revealed initial terms of the currency safety of the export, domestic characteristics and effective factors of currency regulations in export and import transactions.
Making a report on Directions of the Improvement of non-oil Export Potential of Azerbaijan in modern times, Scientific Secretary of the Scientific-Research Institute of Economic Studies under ݮƵ Rafail Rzayev made proposals on stimulating the export of non-oil products.
94 ݮƵ employees and students taken the membership of the New Azerbaijan Party were introduced their membership cards within the event.
