The World Bank supports Projects held at ݮƵ
A Manager on Education Affairs in the Europe and Central Asia of the World Bank Christian Aedo and a Senior Education Expert Jason Allen Wiever met with ݮƵ Rector Adalat Muradov.
Delivering detailed information about ݮƵ, A.Muradov brought to attention that ݮƵs goal is to be ranked among the world-class universities; then he spoke about the international cooperation and namely about the ties established with the worlds prestigious universities. Rector informed the guests about the projects realized at the university, especially the Electronic University Model and Differential Salary System, performances of the newly established International School of EconomicsԻ ݮƵ Business School.
Stating as a reason of their visit to study the priorities of higher education system in Azerbaijan and obtain the information about the needs of the universities, the World Bank Manager Christian Aedo and Senior Education Expert Jason Allen Wiever highly appreciated the projects implemented at ݮƵ, essentially digitalization of teaching, involving young specialists studied abroad to university and the application of Differential Salary System.
The issue of getting the World Banks support for ݮƵs development strategy has been extensively discussed. In addition, views on having access to the banks publications in the field of education and expansion of cooperation in ݮƵ projects of international education and research were exchanged in the end.
