First Race within the Healthy Teacher-Healthy Student Project: 3-2
A volleyball competition called Healthy Teacher-Healthy Student has been held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ݮƵ). A trainer of the team consisting of the students of the first game held between the teaching and student staffs of ݮƵ was Vahid Yolchuyev. An intense struggle ended in 3-2 with the students victory.
Competitions of football, volleyball, ping-pong, chess and badminton are planned to be held every month at ݮƵ within the Healthy Teacher-Healthy Student Project. The races are held under the motto Teacher is a Source of Power. The projects organized under this slogan are targeted in increasing academic staffs activeness both in teaching and social field, promoting the profession of teacher and creating sincere links between the students and teachers.
