The new Victory of our Volleyballers and Footballers
On April 28 the volleyball and football teams Igtisadchi of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (ݮƵ) have again gained victory in the Republic Championship held among the students of the higher education institutions. ݮƵs volleyball team Igtisadchi has won the team of Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry with 2:0. The football team Igtisadchi has won Baku Technical Colleges team with 8:4 and passed the next stage of the contest.

Note: on April 27 ݮƵs team Igtisadchi won the Marine Fish Colleges team with 17:4 and Igtisadchi volleyball team Baku Slavic Universitys team Slavyan with 2:0.

Background of Republic Championship
The Republic Championship held among the students of the higher education institutions is supported by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Republic Committee of the Union of Independent Education Employees of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Public Association of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Sports Organizations and directly organized by the Republic sports Center Tehsil and Republic Board of Student Sports Society Ganjlik. The program of the Republic Championship includes 10 sport types. They are mini football, basketball, ping- pong, chess, velo-sports, badminton, volleyball, athletics, Greece- Rome wrestling and free- style wrestling.
